Download Meeter Desktop App
Meeter for macOS is optimized natively for Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4) as well as Intel processors.
- Click the download button to grab
Meeter - Open the downloaded file.
- Drag and drop the **Meeter** icon into your **Applications** folder.
- Launch Meeter from Launchpad or Spotlight (⌘ + Space).
If macOS shows a pop-up saying "App downloaded from internet", simply click Open. If prompted about an unidentified developer, open System Settings > Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.

Meeter uses low-level native operating system window flags (NSWindowSharingNone on macOS and WDA_EXCLUDEFROMCAPTURE on Windows) that are designed to exclude it from screen-capture pipelines.
On supported applications such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Webex, the video encoder is designed to exclude the Meeter window from the capture. The teleprompter remains visible only to you on your local display.
